Mallard Patch

$8.00
#77 Mallard Abundant across most of the Northern Hemisphere, and introduced to much of the Southern, the Mallard is perhaps the most familiar of all ducks. Sleek and elegant, the male’s shimmering green head, gray flanks, and black tail-curl make it easily identified. Almost all domestic ducks trace their lineage to the Mallard, too. But that quack you hear is the sound of the female Mallard. Males don’t quack; they make a quieter, rasping sound.
