Embellishing an existing wool garment is a fun, bold way to add a decorative element gleaned from nature or a complete redesign for a woolen garment. For this workshop, bring item made from wool or other animal fiber. You can also use this as a chance to both repair and give new life to a garment. (So search through your closet for that awesome sweater with a stain, snag or moth hole that is waiting for a new lease on life.)
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners (so don't worry if you're a fiber novice, or even fiber-phobic). Felting is for everyone! A felting needle and a felting pad are included in this workshop. You'll and leave with a newly embellished garment, and the skills and tools for future felting. Children with the interest and attention span for this type of workshop are more than welcome to attend with a caregiver.
